Make sure it’s away from large electrical items, and also fit an IPlate or if you can use a pair of pliers remove the bell wire see http://broadband-speedup.blogspot.com/

Why I have to pay for 8mbps on AOL and the speed I am getting is more like 2. Frustrating that technology moves on so quickly but internet ISP’s does not.

Comment on Euro Influence by Neil Craig http://www.richardallan.org.uk/?p=667&cpage=1#comment-435719 Neil Craig Wed, 02 Sep 2009 12:20:16 +0000 http://www.richardallan.org.uk/?p=667#comment-435719 The reason is because the EU elections are conducted under PR, something the “LibDems” seem somewhat less keen on now that their position as 3rd party in British politics clearly depends on the present system. Hopefully in due course you will be eclipsed by them & the BNP since it does our country no honour to have liberalism represrnted by you genocidal , organlegging Nazis.

Down there we had a 20Mbps line which was unbelievable. At home we have very similar to what you have, on average a 4mbps line. The difference is unbelievable. Especially with the amount of work I do on websites on the Internet and when others in the house are using it at the same time.

Oh well – no hope for fibre-optic around here any time soon!

Comment on Hospital Pass Reshuffle by Adirec Torytski http://www.richardallan.org.uk/?p=672&cpage=1#comment-428773 Adirec Torytski Wed, 08 Jul 2009 06:01:25 +0000 http://www.richardallan.org.uk/?p=672#comment-428773 You coined the phrase to perfection. Are we not supposed to have any idea of what is going on? Nobody wants to be on the end of the receiving “hospital pass” but I guess there are those who damn the consequences and take the hit for the team….. or is it a case of “I wasn’t involved at the time”
